FAQ

How do I go about making an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, just call Danielle at (720)951-1451 or (303)770-1704. Appointments are usually offered most of the day on Mondays and Wednesdays and also, late afternoon and early evening every day. Appointment spots can be limited so call to schedule an appointment today!

How long does the average appointment take?

Most pets should only take at most an 1 1/2 hours but it is all dependent on the condition of the pets coat and what needs to be done.

—————

Do you groom cats?

I have 2 years experience grooming cats but since I work by myself, it can be hard to groom difficult cats without someone to help. So, it is all dependent on the kitty! I'm more than willing to give any cat a chance though!

—————

Do you do home calls?

For the most part, I do not do home calls. I can make exceptions depending on the circumstances.

What vaccinations do you require to have my pet groomed?

I recommend that EVERY pet be updated on all their shots. This is a salon that sees a lot of different pets and even though things are kept clean, it is best to keep your pet protected against diseases by getting them their shots. On the other hand, I HIGHLY recommend that every pet at least have their rabies shots for both my safety and your pets safety.

How does the whole grooming process work?

Well, after scheduling an appointment, you would drop your pet by my house at the scheduled time. At this point, I would discuss what services you want for your pet and explain pricing and a time frame. You would then leave your pet with me for the stated amount of time and the grooming process would begin.

Can I just stop by to have touch-up services done?

Most touch-up services only take at most 15 minutes, so usually stopping by would be okay but I would ALWAYS recommend calling to make sure I am available. I am currently in college and taking one or two classes on campus, so there are times where I may not be home. I will always try to work with your schedule to make things work for both of us though! So don't be afraid to call and ask!

What is included in every groom?

All services are listed under products but all services also include a bow or bandana, breath spray, and a spritz of dog cologne/perfume. This way your dog looks and smells extra special!

How long have you been grooming?

I started bathing dogs in May 2005. After 8 months of being a bather, I began grooming dogs in January 2006. Ever since then, I have worked full time grooming dogs. About a year later, I learned to groom cats and have now been grooming cats for almost 2 years. Over these 3 1/2 years, I have built close relationships with many valuable owners and their pets. Luckily, I have just recently moved to the Centennial/Cherry Creek area so I am excited for the opportunity to build a relationship with many more owners and their pets in this area!

My dog has behavioral issues and has been turned away from other grooming salons. Can I still bring him/her to you?

I welcome any pet and will give any pet a chance! A lot of pets get stressed in busy salons because of all the noise and other dogs around them. This can add to their fear and bad behavior. I am willing to work with any dog on their behavioral issues but also ask that the owners understand that it may take a couple grooms before these issues can be resolved. In some cases, these issues may never be resolved, though, and in these cases, I will try my best to make your pet look as good as possible. All I ask is that every owner be understanding and willing to work with me on helping their pet get what he or she needs to be happy and healthy.
